President vs Captain Day 2019

36 players took part in the annual President v Captain Match Play event on Thursday 21st March. There were 4 squared matches and the Presidents team finally won 11- 7. The weather was quite wet and the match play golf was good practice for all our players representing Anglesea in the pennant season starting next week.

Anglesea win Kew Bowl 2019!

Congratulations to our Anglesea teams that won the Kew Bowl on 21st March, 2019. Our team consisted of Prue Moodie, Margot Crilly, Lou Crellin and Liz Lee. The team aggregate score was 88 points to win the trophy from Commonwealth Golf Club (84 points).

Great kangaroos and our tour guide (Eames – I’m hoping I’ve got the name right) was extremely knowledgeable and very happy to answer our many questions. Top place. Nice pub/bistro too, good collection of beers.

Amazing place! Beatrice has shown us these wonderful creatures – kangaroos! Glad that they are kept here safe and wild at the same time! Great experience 🙂

Took the kangaroo tour with Ian was amazing plenty of grey kangaroos … the kids had lots of fun
