Members Feedback

I would like to start by thanking the President Jules and all the Board Members for their tireless efforts and fabulous job they have all done.

I have been a member at Anglesea for 20 years and as an ex captain I know how much VOLUNTARY hard work is done. The endless emails and phone calls. I think we all forget that the Board is giving their own time to help make things run smoothly and efficiently and they all have the Clubs best interest at heart.
Obviously, there are always some curve balls such as the catering but that is an external unit which is always trial and error. I would like to see how anyone can do better .Over the 20 years we have seen quite a few different caterers.

It is a real shame we have a few members who put themselves ahead of the club; who are trying to cause disunity by giving incorrect information and causing  a rift between members.
I don’t live in Anglesea and I could have joined any club in Geelong. Anglesea Golf Club is dear to me I love the happy atmosphere in the club and friendships I have made along the way. Especially the Ladies right from the start they were welcoming to me and I am very grateful for all that I have learnt along the way.
The course looks fantastic thanks to Brett and staff and not to mention all the volunteers that are happy to give their time to this great Club especially Gunners, Gremlins, ball collectors and Roo volunteers just to mention a few.

There are a lot of happy members that are willing to give their time to make this club great and I just hope members will realize the current Board have done a brilliant job.
