Visit Our Beautiful Golf Course on the Great Ocean Road
A highly regarded golf course on the Great Ocean Road, Anglesea Golf Club is an easy 1.5 hour drive from Melbourne. Set in the beautiful hinterland of the Great Ocean Road just minutes from the coastline, it offers a challenging layout.
The 1st nine holes (designed by Vern Morcom) were opened in December 1953. The 2nd nine holes opened in April 1961, completing a course with a par 72 rating. Acquisition of further land in 1962 saw the 1st nine holes redesigned and completed in 1968, resulting in a current rating of 73.
In the 1990s our fairways were transformed with Wintergreen Couch and in 2000, recycled water was connected. The course has 42 bunkers, 3 practice fairways, 2 practice putting greens and a 6-bay driving range.
There are many features that make a visit to our golf course a unique experience and must do when travelling the Great Ocean Road.
Our adjoining bushland and fairways are home to hundreds of Eastern Grey Kangaroos. The Clubhouse boasts a magnificent view down the 18th Fairway. Members are welcome all ages. We look forward to welcoming you as a playing member, social member, or corporate group.
